THERE WAS A SERIES OF CHARACTERS IN CHEERS AND IT SEEMED CHEERS LASTED "FOREVER" AND IT WAS WELL LIKED, ACCORDING TO REVIEWS. AND I DO NOT FREQUENT BARS, SO PERHAPS, I DON'T IDENTIFY WITH THE CHARACTERS.
HOWEVER, I LIKED FRASIER THE BEST. PERSONAL FAVORITE, I GUESS. I REALLY LIKED THE CHARACTERS IN FRASIER. MAYBE, I CAN IDENTIFY WITH THEM. THEY WERE MORE PROFESSIONAL IN THAT BOTH FRASIER WERE DOCTORS IN PHYSCIATRY, THE FATHER WAS A RETIRED POLICEMAN, ROZ WAS A KICK, SHE HELPED FRASIER IN THE SOUND BOOTH, I WAS GLAD HER CHARACTER WAS EXPANDED BEYOND THE RADIO STATION.

Cheers...
While Frasier was an excellent show, Cheers is the best show ever. The comedy still stands up today when you watch it. The dynamic between Sam & Diane, (later with Rebecca,)the idiocy of Cliff, the folksy wisdom of Norm, the bitchiness of Carla, the sweet stupidity of Coach and Woody, and the pompousness of Frasier and Lilith, all worked. Frazier was somehow diminished without the rest of them around.

Cheers was better. I like the characters more than the ones on Frasier.

Wow, I have to pick one? I LOVE both of 'em. I gotta go with Cheers because you had more plot lines going on. What with Sam & Diane, Coach (later Woody), Normisms, Cliff & Carla's bantering back and forth. Plus, that is where Frasier came from, so you gotta respect that. I could go on all day...

Frasier, because it picked my favorite part of Cheers out and wrapped a whole show around it, but then it went so much further.
