I watch Passions and I admit the show sucks thanks to the stupid writer who destroyed many potentially interesting storylines/characters. I don't watch GL but I think Passions could rise if JERk (the head writer) either gets his act together and stop destroying storylines/characters or let a new writer take over like he did with Days because that show was sucking too. I have a question though, do you watch either show?

Passions! Guiding Light is the LONGEST running soap opera. It started on radio. GL just won a ton of Emmies, too. So I don't think its going.

Guiding light has a long and storied history. Passions is one of those disposable shows(i.e Sunset Beach, Generations, Port Charles etc.).

Passions.
JER has to be the worst writer in Soap History. He almost ruined Days. It's going to be a hell of a project for Sheffer to clean up.

Guiding Light has been on for years. I think it's run it's course so I'd say Guiding Light.

i'm a dedicated GL watcher and that i asked myself the comparable question.. i needed Remy to have of challenge to boost his son and to be with Ava. i pick Lizzie and invoice to be mutually..i became great unhappy to work out the child circulate i'm questioning if which ability Ava merely isn't returning.. i understand that she became taking some day off and she or he became undecided if she may be returning.
