It's sort of a silly question, but with the episode 38 that gave kids seizures, and the music making kids commit suicide in one of the games, is it okay to watch, or play? I recently started watching it, and so I was just wondering if its safe to watch. I'm watching the ones that are in English, just btw .-.
Because I don't really wanna end up having a seizure, or killing myself. :c

It's very safe. I watch it all the time.

Flashing lights from any kind of TV or video game are known to trigger seizures in people with epilepsy or other brain disorders. It's actually written right in the user's manual for almost any electronic device.

Additionally, the Lavender Town syndrome was caused by a program glitch found in a handful of first-release copies of Pokemon Red and Blue. The glitch caused the music in Lavender Town to produce a sound frequency that can only be heard by the sensitive ears of children and young teenagers. This sound, for some unknown reason, caused the kids to become suicidal--but older kids and adults who bought first-release copies were unaffected. Additionally, the glitch was fixed for subsequent copies of the games and was never heard about again.

So, yes, it's very safe. Like anything else, it's good to be aware of what you're getting into, so kudos to you for that.

It's perfectly safe to watch them.

All those cases the children were either epileptic or had similar cases or had minor cases similar to epileptic. I've watched it many times. Its fine to watch.

I grew up when the first season of pokemon aired in the U.S and it wasnt so bad, but nowadays i hear about people saying it sucks but anyway the games are much better. The anime makes no sense at all if you pay attention to details, the games are much more entertaining.
