Is there any particular reason that teenage boys and young men like My Little Pony?

I mean, other than than the obvious that it is a really good show. I guess I could be considered a pegasister(?). I never went though the normal pony faze that little girls went through, but, now at 17, I think I might be. Anyway, is there any thing that really makes it better as compared to "normal" guy shows?

i'm 24 i like it most likely for the reasons you like it. i mean it's hard to pin point why i mean the show has so much to love the looks of the show,the music,plot,villains and how they play out each episode in funny ways that make you smile:) we man are deeper then people want to think we are. two votes down? haters gonna hate

As a fan since the show aired its 4th episode ever, I have had allot of time to consider this question for myself and this is what I came up with..



- Cute as hell ponys.



- Fantastic character development and the characters are very entertaining all in their own ways.



- Teaches about great moral/characteristic values that you encounter almost everyday in your normal life and does a great job at keeping it understandable and comparable to people of all ages.



- The picture, sound, acting, and storytelling are top-notch and you can tell that the creators are really putting their best efforts into the show, which gives it a very appealing look/feel while watching it.



- You can relate to most of the characters in some way or another.



- The show really gets your imagination going.



- Entertaining music and songs
